To increase conversion and adoption of Microsoft's Cortana Analytics Suite, Azure sought a consolidated Learning and Education experience. Existing instruction was scattered and inconsistent, lacking discoverability or clear information architecture. I did a deep dive into industry standards and gathered customer feedback to determine how to map organization to user's expectations. Content was organized by type at the top level, as deeper navigation for different content types pivoted on varying criteria.
The findings of this exploration evolved into the incorporation of Learning into the Cortana Analytics Gallery (see separate project) which provided more robust search, filter, and sort mechanisms. A primary result of this initial exploration was to allow for the categorization of existing materials in a way that made gaps in content apparent to content creators.
